P RamLee The Musical !!

Yes - Akhirnya dpt pegi tgk P Ramlee The musical kt Istana Budaya semalam. BUkan aper beb, diorang dok tulis review kt newspapers, ckp best la itu la - Berapi la gua, sbb tue gua kena pegi tgk.. Nasib baik dpt tics, beli kt member la, kater sumer tics dah sold out. Gua rase diorang xkan extend musical nie, sbb istana budaya is fully booked until end of the year. So siapa miss yg kali ini, kena tunggu tahun depan la yer hihihihi (Gelak Jahat) To summarize things up about da musical, As for my opinion la - Musical nie mmg gempak. Gua bukan journalist, or pro2 yg pandai buat review nie - For me, a good musical mesti ader benda2 nie: -

1. Tidak mengantuk - Gua xtido during da 3 hour show. Believe me, gua penah pegi musical yg gua sendiri terlelap, giler boring.
2. Amazing props/ set - Can u imagine diorang ader prop kepala keretapi beb!! plus Ader kereta lame tahun 50's convertible yg diorang drive kt atas pentas. The set was gempak giler, i can say they managed to portray 50's punyer environment lah.
   
3. Good music/ singing - Erwin Gutawa jadi music conductor. Ader one whole orchestra, and lagu2 yg diorang cipta (apart fr lagu P Ramlee yg jadi soundtrack) although contemporary, melody dier best. Semua org bleh nyanyi, Melissa Saila kureng sket la, but her acting was so good beb!!
   
4. Good careography - Gua rase dance moves dier smart. Ader dis one part, diorang guna terompah yg nak pegi jamban tue, buat mcm Tap dancing. Kirer Malaysian punyer version of tap dancing. The 50's cabaret punyer dance moves lagi - giler layan ah!!
5. Good Acting by actors/actress - My credits goes to Melissa Saila, Sean Ghazi and Liza Hanim - Diorang mmg pandai berlakon. Dato' Siti - i cudn't say much, sbb her part was so little, so a bit unfair to judge her acting la kan.
   
6. Jln cerita yg mudah difahami - This is by far the most important thing. If the audience cudn't understand the storyplay - buat aper?? P Ramlee The Musical punyai jln cerita yg easy to understand la.

Oh yer practise jammin session dah start. We have like sebulan lebih nak practise for the comin Sports Day. Jammin session sudah dibayar oleh company. Giler best hehe...i'll talk about the practise session in the next entry k....
